HELLO WEEKEND!

Time to let the hair down (or, put it up!), pull on the cas' jeans and relax a little.

At the same time... and don't take this the wrong way: I urge you not to look tooooooo relaxed.

Remember that your clothes are a way to off your fun, fabulous and phenomenal personality!

(not a way to hide the amazing woman you are).

You can still be chill while still having some fun with it.

Here's a mini example from me last weekend....

Nothing elaborate but notice that while I just had on a pink tee and dark jeans (the most flattering wash!),

adding the leopard flats (a recent thrift store find for just $12; they're Kitson LA) and green belt
added a little color and pattern punch to my otherwise ho-hum look.

Also tucked in the front of my shirt to show off the belt. No need to tuck in the whole thing if you want to keep it relaxed and comfy, just a little tuck in the front can show off a bright belt without feeling so formal.

Here's how it would look sans my "personality pieces"....

Still OK but kinda generic and blah, I think. The first look really showed off ME.
That's the whole point.
Have fun with it and mix and match. I've never worn my green belt with leopard but... now I have! :)
Take a good look inside that closet of yours and pair something you never thought you would.
C'mon. Please. For me?
