Outfit: Happy Hour Likes Polka Dots

For today's outfit post (ps: they're every Monday), here's my look from a happy hour last week to celebrate the first anniversary of JustAskBoo (JAB) in the Palm Beaches. Yay!

That's right, baby... I'm a JABBER!

Think I'm crazy? Nahh... it's just an awesome weekly e-newsletter with questions, referrals and more from local peeps like me -- anything from selling/needing a stroller, travel advice or best seamstress in town. Love that it's not this massive craiglist type thing where you have no clue who's responding! Two thumbs up.

Anyway, I digress.. this is about the outfit, of course.

I was thrilled to find this mini polka dot tee on the clearance racks of Old Navy. So much so that I also bought it in pink (which I'm sure I'll be showing off here soon enough!).

In my quest to find more blouses and lively tops to rid me of my "I have nothing to wear" syndrome, this one fit the bill and works casual or slightly glammed up. It's actually more grey but looks blue next to my navy skirt. Oh well.

Good thing I added the cardy for contrast!

Actually, let's be honest: I always add a cardy... contrast needed or not. Best. invention. ever.

ps: note the bangs, or lack of them. they were not working with me in florida's humidity. say adios! please bare with me as these puppies grow out... it could get a little ugly up in here. ha. and, check me out with a different shade of lipstick. trying to mix it up. have you?
