Outfit: My Adventure in Orange Pants!

I almost can't believe I bought these.

While I desperately love color, pops of it, splashes, big swatches, for some reason the color has never made it to my pants. Never. And, an orange??? Heaven forbid. Until now...

My pants are black, navy, grey, white, khaki, denim --- the neutrals. Oh, and I don't do orange. Never.

I swear. Ask a friend. I felt like orange clashed with my red hair (yes, I said it) so it was never even an accent. I'm ridic, I know.

However, after a Twitter convo with Budget Babe and the Tory Burch show which was like a giant orange love-fest, I saw these beauties in the H&M window... one of the cheapies to lure you in to its dungeon of fashion. Just $9.95! How could I not test out the color for such a fab price?

Lo and behold, they fit... and wait... I kinda actually, shockingly, loved them.

Here's my gasping face. Or my, "I can't believe I"m out in public, let alone in the middle of my street, in these pants" look. Wait, no, I think I was just telling the photog, my bro (visiting from Chicago, yay!) to make sure I didn't get run over by any speeding cars in the 'hood. Yup, probably it.
