NOW: This Season's Hot Polish

One wonderful gal -- in a nail crisis -- recently asked me what polish colors are perfect for Fall. My response? GOOD QUESTION! Each season, there are certainly "it" colors.

First, are you one of those gals who religiously wears the pale pink Sugar Daddy or Ballet Slippers? I say, break out of that rut! My thoughts on nail polish...

Worse case scenario: you take it off.... or it's only a week or two! Or, try it on your toes. If you're not thrilled, wear flats or boots; it's the perfect time of year anyway. So, go bold... or stay home!

In addition to the perennially classic red, this season's must haves? 

• Brown: Think chocolate on your hands and feet! Yum. This is my current pedi color-of-choice. Try Essie's Little Brown Dress; Chanel Le Vernis in Particuliere or Zoya in Kalista.

• Grey: Consider your skin tone with this color; the shade really matters! A few options: Sally Hansen in Wet Cement; Zoya in Kelly and Sephora Collection's Gypsy.

• Purple: go deeper so it's not Easter egg purple, look for hints of grey. Ones to try?
