Outfit: Hearts, Leopard and a Whole Lotta Fun

Gals: we need to live it up! I see so many seemingly awesome women wearing kind of ho-hum clothing.
Whats up with that?? I know, it's comfy, but ya know what? Cuter clothing can be, too.
Plus, there's nothing better than walking around all day feeling HOT. Pretty. Happy. And, HOT!

And, I'm not just preaching without action! Don't you worry. I've made a conscious effort this past year to look my best each day -- if just for moi -- and to better utilize my wardrobe.
One feat: mixing more patterns!
My latest: this heart-printed shirt with my leopard heels. Why not, right? Right.
I also adore seeing women pair leopard belts with bright colored shirts and solid pants.
Stripes and florals are another successful pattern mix.
It's all about the patterns. Are you being adventurous these days??
Remember, it's just. one. day.
And, then you get to pick another outfit. Fashion: it's the best!

ps: so where did this outfit go?
two nights: a few weeks ago I wore it to see Wicked (amaze!), and on Friday, for a sushi date night!

and, here's me again... as four eyes with my trusty cardy; one always goes with me!
as for the glasses, someone's contacts have been bothering them. take me or leave me. :)
 blouse: marc by marc jacobs
jeans: joe's
heels: style & co. via macy's
leather bands: etsy & tory burch
watch: michael kors tortoise shell
cardigan: gap
polish: essie's watermelon

    Boring outfits make me sad.
How can you have fun with fashion when you wear the same sad T-shirts and jeans every day?
I am LOVING the mixture of patterns you are wearing. It's fun and outrageous without being in your face or frightening.
    Kudos.

Thanks ladies!! So glad you're liking the pattern mixing.

Kate: LOVED Wicked. Could see a million times.

Lia: YES, YAY! Found the TB bracelet under a pile of clothes. Lesson learned there. haha.

Sarah: my pleasure; will always share the polish now, just for you. :)

Love the outfit! The patterns are so cute together! The cut of the shirt looks great on you as well.

P.S. Didn't fail my master's proposal defense, so I'm still in grad school! :)

Love the outfit. My contacts play up and it always amazes me that people didn't know I wear glasses!

Ahhh, that blouse! I loved that blouse and came close to buying it several times, but in the end I went with the heart patterned cardigan from that same season of Marc. It looks amazing on you, and I love it paired with leopard print, especially since I think the heart pattern looks a little leopard-like from a distance. Right? Right. LOVE IT!
