Outfit: Date night!

Ahh... date night!

On Friday night we left the little chickie with a babysitter and headed out for a romantic date night... just the two of us. While we're fortunate that we get to go out a good amount considering we have a 15-month old, it's been a while that it's just been the two of us. Considering that, we took it as a good reason to finally try Capital Grille, an awesome steakhouse (has other locations, too) that everyone's been raving about.

As for my outfit: it was a runner-up that totally worked out. Wheh! It's been a little chilly here so the tights and short-sleeve sweater cardigan came in super handy... and loved another opportunity to wear them. It's been in the balmy 80s here for weeks!  And, I got to wear my new Dolce Vita for Target wedges again. These are going to be in major rotation all-summer-long. My other outfit fave? It's a total bargain! The dress, cardigan, tights and necklace cost about $30ish total, almost the same as my wedges!

We had such a nice time, reconnecting, enjoying calamari that was so perfectly fried and tender, and giving a mini 'cheers' with our glasses of cab. Most of our steak wound up leftover, which was perfect for leftovers on Saturday night.... along with the rest of the Capital Grille's lobster mac n' cheese. Heaven.
